Nagaoka MG-704 is a head shell of magnesium which fits arms from SME and others that use the same fitting. The head shell is extremely light and stiff. The connecting wires are pure copper litz-wire to minimize losses. A fantastic head shell!

Tonar HQ PRO Headshell
Production of the Nagaoka headshell has ceased, and it seems to be impossible to find any remaining stock. We have been able to find a replacement which is made in the same factory and has the same construction.

The only difference is the fingerlift and the connecting wires of litz-type, which are more flexible in the new shell. Of course there is no Nagaoka logo or other markings.

We deliver the headshell packaged as shown in the picture together with a bag of black unmagnetic Nagaoka mounting hardware (not in the picture).

comes with 2 screw-in weights, 2g and 4g.
